dead art

Here is one of my latest pieces. It was an "Undead" friendly competition among me and a few of my friends. I chose a heroic subject yet one who is still almost as creepy as the zombies. think about it if you were forced to hack up your friends and neighbors it would mess with your head. no matter how much you and your friends joke about how awesome it would be if zombies attacked your city. You can see the rest of the submissions @ http://crystalclearart.blogspot.com/.
Prints are available of this image. $100 for a 30" wide. $75.00 for a 20" wide. $50.00 for a 14" wide. email me for more details frameartgallery@mindyourprints.com

current work on display

Here are a few of my recent works. I like these because they are fun for me. I tend to range alot in my abillities as an artist but i feel as thought these allow me to find my voice without being too tied up in my technique. I like an urban style and i have alot of influence as a younger artist from comics and grafitti art. You may see bits of that in the drippy effects i use. this series is totally indusrial and would look great with a modern decor.
Its too bad you cant see them in person. But if you would like to order a print of any of these just email me at frameartgallery@mindyourprints.com

Introduction

I am a young entrepreneur trying to make my name in one of the most treacherous times during our nation’s history. I work alone and try my best to serve my family, friends, and customers. I have learned that life and success are about relationships and a deep understanding for the purpose of money. Money is like grease or gas, they just help the machine run and while they are essential they are not primary.
Right now I live in Ft. Myers where I operate a frame and art gallery. First in my career is making original art. Second (because I have to eat) is my custom framing business which challenges my skills as a craftsman and a designer. Also, I have begun a new venture which goes hand in hand with my custom frame shop.
I now produce high quality wide format prints. Specifically, for the fine arts world, this is refered to as “giclee.” Giclee (zhee-clay) is a French name for fine art print. The word actually comes from the French word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray." This is related to my printing process because the ink is actually applied by means of an ink jet printer where ink is actually squirted out of the printer head one tiny droplet at a time to create the final image. The printer I use is the Epson 9600 pro which is a 44” wide roll fed printer.
The cool thing is it allows for printing on a range of materials. The more popular is canvas. Basically, you can print any digital image on any material available. Print pictures of your children or grandchildren on canvas and hang it like a work of art. Artist can have an affordable means of reproducing their artwork with a more than ever likeness to the original.
If you are interested in having prints made you can visit my website www.mindyourprints.com. There you can request a quote, email or mail your image, and print as many or as few as you would like. you can even pay online.
